Glass recycling is one of the processes which need to be concerned as glass is one of the largest components used in household and industrial. There are a few types of glass which can be recycled including stained glass. Stained glass is not the type of glass which can be compatible with recyclable common glass in general facilities. However, stained glass recycling still can be working by making a creative project to create new items. There are the instructions for stained glass recycling as follow.
1. To concern of the safety, heavy protective gloves should be put on to hold the glass while working on the project. Then, cut the glass into random pebbles by using a proper glass cutter. After finish the cutting process, those pebbles can be adapted to use at the bottom of fish tanks or jar.
2. Stained glass can be made as mosaic by cutting it into small pieces. After cutting the glass, arrange those pieces of glass on a plain tile as design by using the glue to stick the pieces of glass.
3. Making a picture frame from stained glass can also be made easily. It can be made by using glue to stick glass pieces on plain wooden frames in the pattern as designed.
4. Cutting glass into pieces for making tree decoration in different size and shape. Then, using the glue to stick glass pieces on the cardboard and cut the cardboard around glass so that it will not be shown. Do not forget to leave the space on cardboard’s top for a hole. After that, use ribbon to pull through the hole and tie a knot on ribbon loop’s top. Let’s hang the decoration from stained glass on the Christmas tree.
